7 Lisa René - Lead Vocals, Background Vocals, and Percussion

Lisa is a vocalist professionally trained at the University of Illinois and Elmhurst College. Prior to fronting and leading a band, Lisa starred and directed in numerous stage productions in both high school and college. For eight years, Lisa fronted and managed the very successful cover bands, Counterpart and Picture Perfect. She has recorded an original CD and is actively touring locally to promote her original project as well. Whether she is singing a Celine Dion ballad or belting out "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin, Lisa amazes crowds night after night with her stage presence accomplished voice and her ability to sing so many different styles.

7 John Williams - Bass, Lead Vocals, Background Vocals, Keyboards

John has played in many musical situations over the years from playing in his church to being a member of several cover bands. John is very well-versed in the music industry based on his many years working for Sony Music, representing artists such as Mariah Carey. His solid and soulful bass playing and versatile vocals are the foundation of The Lisa René Band.

7 Gregg Albahari - Guitar, Lead Vocals, Background Vocals, Synth Programming

Gregg has been playing guitar since the age of seven. He moved to Chicago from Los Angeles where he played guitar in a very popular Top-40 band as well as being part of an original band of his own. Gregg has extensive live and studio experience. Using top-of-the-line equipment, Gregg has one of the finest guitar sounds of any guitarist in the area. This sound adds the colors, textures, and raw energy to The Lisa René Band’s full sound. His strong vocals and intricate harmonies help to round out the vocal ensemble.

7 Joe Kasko - Drums, Drum Machine and Synth Programming

Joe is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he was actively involved in several local bands. Joe is responsible for running The Lisa René Band’s extensive state-of-the-art midi set-up, complete with synth modules, wave sampling, electronic percussion, and a personal computer that helps the band stay at the forefront of technology and produce one the fullest sounds on the music scene. Joe's straight ahead and powerful drumming combines perfectly with John's bass playing to create one of the strongest rhythm sections in the Chicago area.

The Lisa René Band also boasts one of the best sound systems in the area featuring EAW KF Series main speakers, EAW monitors, Mackie 24x8 mixing console, outboard processing by Lexicon, Roland, AB, and dbx, and power amps by AB, Crest, and Carver. A sound engineer is always on site to make sure that the band sounds their absolute best for every event.
