Big City Jazz

Big City Jazz is led by Peter Polzak who began his career within the Chicago entertainment community over 30-years ago performing in concert with such artists as Dizzy Gillespie, Morganna King and Dave Brubeck.

As one of Chicago’s most in-demand Jazz pianists, Peter leads his contemporary, sophisticated Big City Jazz, delivering music that appeals to audiences ranging from 20-somethings to 80-year olds. The versatile instrumentalists in this group have mastered an inspiring mix of Chicago style, traditional, Latin, Modern, and smooth Jazz.

Peter has provided musical entertainment for corporate and private functions in virtually every venue of note in Chicago and throughout the metropolitan area. His discography includes recordings for the USA Label and Columbia Records.
